Without warning, the alien planet Ardonnar is devastated by violent explosions from its sun, Utui. As the Ardonnarians pick up the pieces, they are confronted by Damok-Sai, an alien commander in charge of a hostile invasion fleet with Ardonnar as their next target.
The people of Ardonnar fall for the aliens who promise to help in their time of need. However, the true mission of the Ineans is soon learned, and the people fight back against the invaders.
The Ineans, however, would discover a use for the Ardonnarian people and choose to hold off on annihilating them. Choosing instead to enslave them for their insidious purpose.
This delay allows groups of resistance fighters, working together across their planet, to keep the Ineans off balance. This gives the military, working on a small moon called Anaru, time to build hybrid bombers to attack the Ineans.
With time running out for the Ardonnarians, they take the fight to the Ineans.

The Inean Debacle series begins nearly 1000 years after the Ardons battled the Ineans. Now the Ineans have recovered from that devastating war and have gone back into space in search of the Ardons to murder them. However, their search brings them to Earth at a point in time when the people of Earth struggle to survive on their dying planet.
Fortunately for Earth, man can outgun the Ineans. Unfortunately for Earth, the government lacks the will to fight and makes dangerous deals with the enemy.
Earth sends Captain Shawn Hackett and his crew in a starship destined to be decommissioned to Inea to sign a peace agreement. They soon discover a conspiracy from the highest levels of Earth's government to foil their mission and bring about an Inean takeover of Earth.
Hackett can not adhere to the terms of the pre-written agreement and rewrites it to the displeasure of the Ineans. Now the threat of galactic war rests squarely on his shoulders as he joins forces with another volatile race, forcing the Ineans into a corner.
With his ship's systems failing, can Hackett and his crew escape Inea alive before they are killed?
